Air Force 3-Color OCP uniform operation support badge embroidered. Authorized in 1993 for officers and enlisted personnel in the operations support career field. Duties involved in this career field include: international affairs; dealing with foreign governments; international technology transfer and security controls; international personal exchange support; arms control agreements; and strategic arms reduction treaty tracking and reporting. The badge is authorized also for safety officers and enlisted personnel in safety, survival training, life aircrew support, and pararescue career fields.
